Rich Kids with Morgan Stewart
by Eric Chase
How did you land the role for the Rich Kids of Beverly Hills?
You make it sound like an HBO show and I auditioned for months. Truth is, Dorothy and I were friends and she was approached based on her social media presence. Long story short, she brought me along for the ride.
We know that the network makes it more dramatic than real life. Tell us about your character, how is she different from yourself?
I make a serious effort to present my real self on camera. I think that's why I've developed such a connection with the audience, they sense the authenticity.
Tell us about Boobs & Loubs?
Boobs and Loubs is my baby! I created Boobs and Loubs in 2010 and recently re-launched it. It's a fashion and lifestyle blog combined with my personal online journal. I am devoting my summer to making sure it has fresh and fabulous new content.
What do your parents think about the show?
My parents support me. They know I am a smart and gifted young woman and they want nothing more than for me to pursue my dreams, just like they did.
Where are you originally from?
This is my favorite question, born and bred in Beverly Hills, Ca.
What is your nationality?
My mom is from Switzerland and my dad is from BH, so I guess half Swiss half American?
Give us 5 words that you think best describe you.
FUNNY, STYLISH, REAL, LOUD, SENSITIVE.
You’re a "sign" (Cancer, Sagittarius, Libra etc.), how would you describe your personality in that regard?
I am a GEMINI to the full extent, I obsessed with the zodiac and sometimes run my life a little too much according to what it says.
What do you love most about being on TV?
I love being able to put my humor out there for the world to enjoy. It's pretty surreal when people come up to you and quote things you barely remember saying.
Do you work with any charitable organizations? What is your involvement in them?
I work with NAMI and I recently just hosted a luncheon for them here in LA. My brother suffers from mental illness so it was an obvious choice for me to get involved and do everything I can to help the organization gain awareness.
What are some personal ambitions you would like to fulfill?
I have so many. I would love to turn Boobs and Loubs into a book, I would love to branch out from #RichKids and host my own show. I feel I'm just starting.
What do you like to do for fun in your downtime?
I like to sit with a face mask on and hang out with my dogs and Brendan. Actually.
What is one thing about yourself that the world may not know?
That I am actually very sensitive and considerate of other people.
What would you say is your best asset?
My sense of humor, for sure.
What is the funniest thing to happen to you on a photoshoot?
Doing a photo shoot on a “yacht.” It sounds glamourous but it is not.
What are some of your hidden talents?
Unfortunately, they are no longer hidden. Due to #RichKids of Beverly Hills.
Where do you want your career to be in two years?
Hopefully hosting my own show (are you listening E!?)
If you could give one piece of advice to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self to not sweat the small stuff, embrace who you are and everything works out how it’s supposed to.
What do others compliment you on the most?
My skin. I get a lot of skin hype.
What do you enjoy most about being an celebrity?
Am I a celebrity? I think I just feel like myself, the parties are fun!
Will you be pursuing acting?
Potentially, DEFINITELY am not ruling it out!
