Bitmap: Where are you originally from?
Heather: I was born in New Jersey and raised in Idaho.
Bitmap: What is your nationality?
Heather: My father’s side is Polish and my mother’s side is Russian and Welsh.
Bitmap: What are your stats?
Bust: 32 A
Bitmap: You’re a "Gemini/Taurus", how would you describe your personality in that regard?
Heather: I’m a Gemini/Taurus cusp. I don’t really believe in zodiacs. I believe more in
science and not so much in supernatural type of things.
Bitmap: What would you say is your best asset?
Heather: I’m a hard worker, I’m positive. I like to think of myself as being relatively
smart— both book smart and street smart. I’ve been around a lot and I’ve
researched a lot of stuff.
Bitmap: What do others compliment you on the most?
Heather: I get a lot of compliments on my hair. I’ve always had really interesting hair. I’m always doing something different to it, I’m not scared to shave it off, go short, or change the color of it. A lot of people stop me on the street and go, “Oh my gosh, I love your hair!”
Bitmap: How did you get started in acting?
Heather: Started when I was 13. I went to modeling conventions in Seattle, Washington,
Miami, etc. In the Miami convention I got scouted & signed by Click (New York)
at the age of 15… the rest is history!
Bitmap: Are you signed with an agency?
Heather: Yes, Envy Models in Los Angeles.
Bitmap: What do you enjoy most about acting?
Heather: I really love the whole aspect of making something. Without one person in the industry, it doesn’t work out—without the photographer, hair, makeup artist, model—everybody that contributes something to make something that no one has ever seen before. I really like the artistic aspect of it. Creating something that’s original and seeing people get lost inside of a photo and the representation of art, I think that’s really fun.
Bitmap: What are the top three things you like to shoot?
Heather: love anything that has to do with fashion—so Editorial. Being able to create the editorial aspect of it. I think it’s super fun, it allows complete originality from all sides. It really gives the model a chance to express herself and her movements and emotions and be in character. The photographer has everything to do with how it looks and really creating the feel of the editorial. I also like shooting commercials and advertising campaigns.
Bitmap: Do you enjoy the constant attention and adoration that comes with being an actress/ model?
Heather: I wouldn’t say I’ve had too much adoration. I do have a few “fans” through Facebook and social media. I haven’t really gotten that end of it. It’s definitely interesting because I don’t fangirl over anybody. I just think everyone is a human being and should be treated as such. Some of the attention I have gotten has been unwanted and some has been alright, so I can’t really say either way.
Bitmap: As a model, what would you say has been your biggest obstacle?
Heather: The biggest obstacle in my modeling career was finding good management. I don’t feel like I ever found really good management. I was promised a lot when I was young. I did make a lot of decisions myself. I did take a lot of breaks in between my career. I just feel like if I could have had one agent that worked really hard for me, it would have been a little bit different. So I just feel like every other model that gets lost on the board and lost in the books, so I feel like that’s what happened to me.

Bitmap: Where do you want your career to be in two years?
Heather: I’ve actually pretty much quit modeling. I’m in school full-time and about to become a licensed Esthetician. I go to Marinello School of Beauty. I’m pretty jaded with modeling, actually. The market has changed so much and there are so many models now. What you used to be able to make money doing isn’t the same anymore. My ex-agency stole money from me from a national campaign I did. I’m sick of the constant hustle. I mean, I’ll do a $5000 job, but then I won’t work again for another 2-3 months. So now, I want to be in the beauty industry. I think’s it’s a great industry. I’m a really knowledgeable person and I’ve made a lot of great contacts, so I think that’s something that can translate well and I can do for the rest of my life.
Bitmap: What are some of your hidden talents other than acting?
Heather: I’m really good at chess! Like really, really, really good at chess! I used to play tournaments online and won money from that. So that’s a lot of fun! I also like doing yoga. I’m also a book geek—I like reading, and science, and studying history. Not really so much talents, but things I’m interested in.
Bitmap: Take us through your getting ready to model routine.
Heather: If I have a shoot the next day, I like to get plenty of sleep. I always wake up in the morning and do the whole shower thing and really take care of my skin. I don’t really have any special secrets! I really take care of myself health-wise. I’m a vegetarian, I eat organic, I juice everyday, take care of my skin with different products.
Bitmap: What is the best info you can give to a new talents?
Heather: DON’T DO IT! (laughs). No, I’m just kidding. I think they best information that any new model should have is do not go into this expecting to make this a major career because 9 times out of 10 you will be disappointed. One thing I really realized about this is that it’s fun and you should always have a plan B. Always, always, always have a plan B. Don’t ever think you will make something huge of yourself because I was promised that since I was 14. I’ve done some great stuff, been in some great magazines, and worked for some great top designers, but at the end of the day I’m changing my career and it’s for a reason.
Bitmap: If you had to walk away from acting today, what memory would you take from it?
Heather: Every memory of every place I’ve been able to travel in world. If it wasn’t for my modeling career, I would not be who I am today. I’ve seen the world because of this. I’ve been to almost every single continent except for Antarctica and Australia. I was able to travel the world and see places I never would have seen if it wasn’t for modeling. Also, the people who I’ve met who are still some of my dearest friends in the world. So the doors that have opened for me with meeting amazing people and seeing the world—that’s the memory that I’ll always remember.
Bitmap: If you had to walk away, what would you like to be remembered most for?
Heather: Anyone who really truly knows me and knows who I am, that’s what I want them to remember me as. I don’t feel that anyone can truly gather that from a picture.
