How did you start as an entertainer?
I started when I was 15 on a short Disney show called “As The Bell Rings.” It was a great experience, and I learned a lot, but I was just a baby.
You worked with talented artist, who would you say impacted your career?
So far, just watching the powerful work of my favorite actresses has inspired me most… Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, Marion Cotillard…
What is a dream role you'd love to play or artist you'd like to work with in the future?
I’d kill to work with Lars von Trier, he’s one of my favorite directors. I hope one day I can explore characters that are the complete opposite of me.
Did you always want to be an actress even as a child? What did you want to be when you grew up aside from an acting?
I always wanted to be an actress. I’d beg my parents every day when I was little! I’ve always known what I wanted to do.
What do you love most about your profession?
I love the different people you get to work with, and mostly, it’s wonderful getting the opportunity to explore another’s human experience, through whatever character you’re playing.
What challenges or struggles have you face along the way and what helped you overcome them?
There’s so much that’s out of your control throughout the whole auditioning process. It’s helped me a lot to take a step back, be patient and grateful, and write my own material.
Do you work with any charitable organizations? What is your involvement in them?
I haven’t attached to any one specific cause yet. I think I want to work with children and women, and do something to promote and raise money for education; my education has been so impactful in my own life.
Of all the work you have done over the years, what is the one thing you are most proud of?
I don’t think there’s any one specific thing I’m proud of, I’m just grateful to be working at all, to have the opportunity to get to do what I love.
What are some personal ambitions you would like to fulfill?
I want to write and produce my own scripts one day.
What do you like to do for fun in your downtime?
Read, watch TV/movies, hang with my cat Francis, and eat good food.
Of all the roles you've played, which one has been your favorite and why?
I got to be in a short film called The Kid, and that was my favorite character that I’ve played thus far. She was challenging, complicated, and I felt like it was the most out of my comfort zone.
What is one thing about yourself that the world may not know?
I’d rather live in Middle Earth.
If you would walk away from all this, what would you take away from it?
I’d take away all of the wonderful people that I’ve gotten to meet and learn from.

Fort Worth, TX.
What is your nationality flows in your blood?
English/Irish, French, Swedish
Give us 5 words that you think best describe you.
Ummm… curious, kind, trustworthy, compassionate and understanding. At least, I strive to be all of those things.
You’re a "sign" (cancer, sagitarius, libra etc), how would you describe your personality in that regard?
I’m a Scorpio. I’ve had people out of nowhere be like, “You’re a Scorpio, aren’t you?” It’s true. I’m 100% Scorpio, but a lot of the traits are totally beneath the surface for me, others I identify with completely.
What are the recent projects you've worked on?
I’m working right now on MTV’s “Scream.”
How was that like? How did you get that role?
So far, it’s been so amazing. I auditioned for the role… screen tested, you know, the whole process.
What would you say is your best asset?
I don’t know if I could tell you my “best asset,” haha.
What do others compliment you on the most?
Um… haha I don’t know about that question either!
How did you get started in acting?
I got my friend to take a picture of me and I sent it into an agency in Dallas, TX. The agent called my parents and I got to start going on auditions, etc.
What do you enjoy most about being an actress?
It’s nice to be able to give your take on other characters for a living. There’s never a dull moment.
How did you land the role for Scream?
I auditioned and then screen tested. The character came really naturally.
Tell us about Premature, how is that like?
Premature was such a fun movie to work on. I thought the script was hilarious, and everyone I got to work with was amazing too.
What do you like most: TV or Film?
I don’t think I could ever say one way or another, but I think TV right now is so interesting— getting to delve into a character and story line for 10+ hours is amazing.
What is the funniest thing to happen to you on a shoot?
Well just yesterday I was sick on set with a cold and when it came time to say my line, I just sort of growled like a dragon as I was trying to say the words. That was sufficiently embarrassing...
Do you enjoy the constant attention and adoration that comes with being an actress?
I just like getting to do what I love, and everything that come along with it is great and I appreciate it, but it's not in any way why I do what I do.
What are some of your hidden talents other than acting?
I can quote Broad City like it’s my job.
Where do you want your career to be in two years?
I hope I'm in a place where the work I have is challenging me to be better and better.
What is the best info you can give a new talent?
Stay focused, be real with yourself, and avoid the distracting peripheries of this business.
As an actress, what would you say has been your biggest obstacle?
Learning to trust myself and my own instincts.
If you had to walk away, what would you like to be remembered most for?
I'd like to be remembered for my characters, what I brought to the table through them. At the end of the day, that's all I can do.
If you could give one piece of advice to your younger self, what would it be?
To not care so much what others think about you.
What's next for you?
Well, I'm still filming Scream. Hopefully after that, another exciting project.
