Mary Ellen Croteau is an artist based in Chicago who currently uses non-recycled plastic waste to show the huge amounts of garbage we are consuming and sending into the environment.
The plastic caps she uses in her art pieces are made from petroleum. This type of plastic doesn't decompose. Croteau asks her family and friends to help by collecting their caps for a special project. After finishing the mural everyone was speechless.
Makes you think twice what you can do with just a simple bottle cap.
